Wendy Hunter

I recently started my own business called In Support Of Children Counselling.  I would like to share all of my knowledge and experiences of over 20 years with families struggling with a variety of issues.

One of these issues is supporting and educating children and their families through a separation and divorce.  I experienced divorce as a child and then later as an adult.  Both times there were very few supports as my family separated.  I  still remember the anger in my parents voices as a young child.  I was confused.  Why didn't they like each other?  Did I do something wrong and is that why my dad didn't visit me often?   As a Collaborative Practice Family Coach, my job is to help  parents and children travel through this challenging process, listening to your concerns, sharing effective coping strategies and coordinating the process for your family.

I look forward to supporting and educating your family as you go through this difficult time in your lives.

As a child of divorce, I know how difficult and confusing it is to a child going through this challenging time.  I believe the Collaborative Practice process is a positive and empowering way to take a family through a divorce.
