Al Jones
Al Jones, CFP, CLU, ACCUD started his career as a youth & child care worker, counseling both hard-to-serve youth, at the Hincks for 10 years, as well as working with extreme at-risk youth, at the Youthdale Crisis Centre.
Al began his financial career with London Life in 1996, and is currently the President of A. Jones Wealth & Estate Planning Inc. Al had the honour of serving two terms as President of the Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter of Advocis, and was a Director on the TFAAC Board for 2 years. For a two year term, Al served as Chair of the Advocis Chapter Board, continuing his 5 year service as a Chapter Board member. Al is currently serving as Treasurer and as Chair of the Institute Representatives for the Institute for Advanced Financial Education; a member of the Century Initiative, and the Advocis Ontario Political Action Committee. Al currently holds designations as a Certified Financial Planner, and Certified Life Underwriter; as well as the Accredited Canadian Credit Union Director designation.
Al continues to be actively involved in the community. He has volunteered for two terms as President of the Innisfil Chamber of Commerce. He is currently the Chairperson of the Board of the People’s Credit Union, and has received the Accredited Credit Union Director’s Designation from Dalhousie University. Al is the Convenor for the Simcoe Scotch Nosing Society; served as a Scout leader for ten years with 1st Painswick Scouting, and enjoys coaching house league hockey.
