The Collaborative Advtange

Tracie Madsen

I am a family, couple and individual psychotherapist. I provide assessment and treatment to those experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties, relationship challenges and stress induced issues. Using an integrative approach that focuses on the client while creating resources to support the work to solve a range of social and emotional issues. Holistic, treatment oriented, client focused approach. Specializing in trauma, anxiety/depression, self esteem, separation/divorce, domestic conflict, problematic relationship problems, loss/bereavement.

The primary reason that I embarked on Collaborative Law Practice was because I have watched too many families struggle through the trauma of separation/divorce. The aftermath and negative impact can be reduced and managed in a more sensitive manner which I believe Collaborative Law offers. In the more rural area where I practice, there are few professionals specializing in dealing with the complex issues involved in separation/divorce. I feel I can offer even more support now that I have done the training and have an even better grasp of some legal processes clients can access to better maneuver through such a challenging time of their lives.
