Maneet Bhatia


Dr. Bhatia is a graduate of McGill University and has guest lectured and conducted research in the Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy Research Program at Harvard Medical School where he works in the area of Affect Phobia Therapy.  

Dr. Bhatia has over 10 years of clinical experience working in numerous settings including schools, university counselling centres, rehabilitation centres, inpatient and outpatient clinics in local hospitals. Dr. Bhatia works with both adults and couples relying on a collaborative approach that is evidence-based. 

Dr. Bhatia has published several scholarly articles and book chapters on psychotherapy, emotional well-being, and mental health. He is an ad-hoc reviewer for several scholarly journals, and has offered many presentations and workshops at various national and international conferences.

Dr. Bhatia works collaboratively with all clients in both individual and couples therapy in order to help them achieve their specific goals and needs. 

Collaborative Practice is the foundation of how I provide clinical services to all my clients. Working collaboratively, being client-centered, empathic, compassionate, and focused on overcoming difficult emotions and resolving conflicts, in difficult life situations, such as a divorce, is the healthy and humane way to resolution.
