Credentials & Experience

The Collaborative Advtange

Alexander Beadie

Alex is a graduate of Dalhousie Law School and was called to the bar in Nova Scotia (1986), and Ontario (1991).

As an Ontario native, Alex returned to Ontario in 1987 when he established the Legal Department at Honda Canada Inc.. After five years at Honda, an interest in serving individuals and helping them through transitions in their lives involving the law led to Alex opening his own practice as a trial lawyer in the area of criminal law.

With years of courtroom experience behind him, Alex became meaningfully interested in family law matters when his sister went through a separation and divorce. Most recently, Alex has joined the Galbraith Family Law firm, and is completely enthused about being part of a firm that values the merits of a collaborative approach to the practise of family law.

Alex is a longtime skier, golfer and cyclist.
